‘Toxic’ Teaser Out: The much-awaited teaser of Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups has been officially released. Unveiled on Thursday to mark the actor’s birthday, the teaser also reveals the name of Yash’s character – Raya.
Sharing the three-minute-long teaser, KVN Productions wrote on social media, “Get a good look at your danger- Introducing RAYA. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in cinemas worldwide on 19-03-2026.” The announcement has instantly grabbed fans’ attention.
Teaser Opens with a Dark and Intense Sequence
The teaser begins in a graveyard, where a man believed to be a powerful criminal gang leader is seen attending his child’s funeral along with his gang. The silence of the moment is abruptly shattered when a luxury car arrives at the scene. Yash’s character, Raya, steps out and unleashes a deadly burst of gunfire, setting the tone for a dark, violent and intense narrative.
The makers have earlier introduced the film’s leading characters through first-look posters.

Toxic is a collaboration between Yash and Venkat K Narayana, produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, with Akshay Oberoi also associated with the project.
An earlier teaser released last year showcased Yash in a stylish avatar — stepping out of a luxurious black car, smoking a cigar, dressed in a sharp white suit and hat, and later dominating a bar scene with his trademark swag.
Release Date and Box Office Clash
Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The film will clash at the box office with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2.
Notably, Toxic marks Yash’s first film after the massive success of KGF: Chapter 2 (2022), making it one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
